Cover trim
Cover trim is a wide trim used to cover the structural door jambs and headers on large openings. The reason we are highlighting this trim piece is because most of our competitors leave this trim out. Cover trim is standard on all of our buildings, not as a costly option! Cover trim doesn't affect the structure of the building but it does finish off your framed openings. Without this trim, the red structural door jamb will be visible outside of the building which just doesn't look finished properly. MBMI Metal Buildings will not cut corners. This trim is manufactured in 26ga steel and available in over 20 colors. You can have the cover trim match your wall color or trim color. The base metal is galvalume, which is a zinc-aluminum coating that provides excellent corrosion resistance. This trim comes with a standard 40 year paint warranty.
Gutters and downspouts
Gutters and downspout are available on all our buildings. Although they are not needed, gutters and downspouts do a great job of directing rain water exactly where you want it to go. You can also eliminate that water fall effect off the roof during heavy rain storms. This trim is manufactured in 26ga steel and available in over 20 colors. Canopy
Standard canopy kits are available in 4'-6" and 7'-6" widths. These standard sizes are perfect for installation over a walk door or window. Keeping the rain and snow off your entry doors can be a great convenience. Placing canopies over windows can be a great way to keep direct sunlight out and your building cooler. Canopies extend out 4' from the building wall with diagonal supports at the edge of canopy. Multiple standard canopies can be installed together to create one long canopy. Custom canopy
Custom canopies are available in any size you need. These canopies are individually custom designed and engineered for your particular building. You can make a real architectural statement with these custom canopies. From the over 20 available colors to the unlimited design possibilities, any look or style can be created.
