In the summer of 2021, my husband and I began researching metal buildings.
Our dream was to move out of the city, purchase some land, and build a home. We wanted to do as much of the buildout ourselves.
Turning to Google, to search for “metal buildings,” we came across MBMI. We liked that they were based in South Florida, as we wanted someone experienced with South Florida building codes and Florida hurricanes.
In October of 2021, I decided to request some more information. I received an email back from a gentleman named Brian Fabricant and as they say, the rest is history.
December 28th, of that same year, we drove 6 hours to meet Brian at MBMI. We asked a million questions, and Brian was only too happy to answer, EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. Our meeting lasted between 2-3 hours.
Hubby and I changed our design three times. Our goal was to build without going into debt. We are older, empty nesters…unless you count our 4 dogs and 4 donkeys. We wanted something comfortable in size and manageable as we age; Brian never even blinked or sighed. He would just reconfigure and treated us as if we were million-dollar clients.
I’ve never met a Sales Rep who actually listened to our needs, wants, budget, etc… until Brian Fabricant. There was absolutely zero pressure, I mean ZERO. No attempt at upselling, He understood our budget and helped us understand where and how we could trim our budget, and still obtain our dream.
Communication was beyond EXCELLENT. There was never an email or phone message left that wasn’t returned within an hour.
Delivery of our building was so smooth. Turn around time, from the time we ordered till delivered on-site, was 6 weeks. The building was actually due a week earlier, but we had requested an extra week, and it was no problem to push out delivery and no extra charge.
Brian recommended a few erectors their company worked with, and even took care of ordering the insulation for our building. Seamless.
I have found, most companies think their job is done once their services are complete, not MBMI and not Brian Fabricant. Brian wanted to hear all about our progress, and see pictures along the way, as hubby and I finished our build. He even called to check on us, after a hurricane came through our area.
My husband and I cannot thank MBMI and Brian Fabricant enough. We absolutely love our building/home. Building can be a nightmare, but we actually enjoyed our experience with MBMI and Brian. As a native South Floridian, I am super proud to know this amazing company is based there.
